Emptying station

Mixaco-developed emptying stations are for the dust-free emptying of the mixing material into the further processing machine (e.g. extruder metering).

The container is clamped in the emptying station and the product is emptied into the further processing machine with no dust. Two different designs are available: guide fork type or plate type differ from one another in type of container feeding.

• Guide fork type
  the container is pushed into the emptying station
• Plate type
  the container is placed on the emptying station by means of a crane or forklift

The design of the emptying stations consists of:

• Positioning mobile palette/container
• Pneumatic coupling container discharge/further processing system
• Pneumatic rotary cylinder for automatic opening and closing of the container discharge flap

Automation of the emptying station

The following options are available for the automation of the emptying station:

• Pneumatic rotary cylinder for opening/closing the container discharge flap, continuous
• Sensor for product monitoring in the downpipe
• Control emptying station, external or local
• Downpipe interchangeable
• Vibratory motor or beater to aid in the emptying of products that flow poorly
