Applications such as the bonding of powder coatings, SSD/DBE battery materials, color concentrates, cosmetics, and formulations containing low-melting-point additives require rapid and precise heat dissipation to protect product quality and ensure process stability. With its newly developed water-cooled mixing tools, MIXACO provides cooling exactly where it matters most: directly at the mixing tool.

Cooling where heat is generated

While vessel cooling remains extremely effective, targeted cooling of the mixing blades opens up entirely new performance possibilities.

Direct heat removal from the active mixing zone reduces temperature spikes more quickly and evenly, resulting in improved control, consistent quality from batch to batch, and shorter cycle times.

Proven performance, measurable results

Standardized tests conducted on industrial mixers using comprehensive test criteria clearly demonstrate the advantages of tool-based cooling:

• 25–31% shorter cooling time combined with cooling of the entire vessel (jacket and bottom)
• More uniform temperature distribution, confirmed by thermal imaging

The cooling time was reduced from approximately 13 minutes to just 7.5 minutes.
