Minimal Heating

Compared to conventional mixing systems, your mix is heated by no more than one tenth. This is possible thanks to the patented MIXACO Multitool™ mixing technology. Due to the temperature neutrality, melting and build-up are avoided.

Patented Mixing Technology

The patented MIXACO Multitool™ technology achieves perfect mixing qualities – in only 3-6 minutes mixing time.

The MIXACO Multitool™ tool prevents the formation of a mixing trombe during the mixing process. Lumps and agglomerates are broken up by the chopper.

Depending on the mixing tool, mixing can be highly dispersive or gentle on the material. The low drive power ensures reduced energy consumption.

The sealing systems, which are also patented, guarantee minimum maintenance costs and maximum machine availability.

Huge Flexibility in Mixing

The MIXACO Multitool™ is an extremely flexible container mixer that can effortlessly switch between a wide variety of raw materials, recipes and mixing processes. Sizes range from 50 to 2000 liters in volume (useful volume = 80%). Particle size or degree of comminution can be adjusted by individual tool speeds. Tool and motor combinations are available for a wide range of raw materials and mixing tasks. The mixing container, made entirely of stainless steel, is suitable for all raw materials including foodstuffs. You can seamlessly integrate the Multitool™ container mixer into your production processes – both manual and automatic. Integration into a multi-level operation is also possible.

The Multitool™ container mixer can be designed to operate in ATEX hazardous area applications according to customer specifications.

Easy Handling and Quick Cleaning

The ergonomic cleaning position enables user-friendly and fast cleaning – even according to 3 A hygiene standard. Precise container lifting technology guarantees fast and safe handling. Downtimes for container and mold changes are minimal.

Control. Safe, efficient and economical.

The control of the Multitool™ container mixer is based on a Siemens S7 PLC and meets today’s requirements for safety, efficiency and economy. The development and programming of the control system from a single source ensures optimum integration of the mixer components. Alternatively, it is also possible to use Allen-Bradley components (incl. Panelview operating unit).

The control can also be designed according to UL / NEMA. In addition, the control can be equipped with an interface for data exchange to a higher-level control.

Siemens TP700

Up to 99 mixing programs, each with ten working steps, can be created in tabular form via the TP700 touch control panel. Data acquisition and storage of the measured values takes place.

Allen Bradley

Control to UL / NEMA standards with an Allen Bradley PLC and Panelview control panel is also possible.

Mixing positions. Basic, mixing and cleaning position in detail.

Basic Position

In the basic position the mixer is loaded, the container is correctly positioned to the mixing head and secured for the lifting process.

Tilting Process

The tilting process via the motorized drives by 180° into the mixing position can only take place when the mixing container is securely engaged.

Mixing Position

As soon as the container together with the mixing head reaches the mixing position after a 180° swivel, the mixing process is started.

Cleaning Position

In cleaning mode and cleaning position, the mixing head can be cleaned quickly and easily – the mixing tools can be dismantled easily and without great effort.

Mixing methods. All cold mixing processes – individually matched.

With the MIXACO Multitool™ all cold mixing processes are possible. For your raw materials and mixing tasks, the mixing tools and mixing parameters can be individually adjusted to achieve an optimum mixing result. The MIXACO Multitool™ performs the following tasks with ease:

The MIXACO Container Mixer Multitool™ is a very flexible container mixer that can perfectly process almost all raw materials with its revolutionary mixing technology.

In particular, temperature-sensitive raw materials such as paints, powder coatings, additives, masterbatches, PVC, compounds, flavors, proteins, enzymes, etc. can be mixed with the Multitool™ container mixer without loss of quality.

Mixing tools. The patented MIXACO Multitool™-technology.

The respective transport tool (blue material stream) moves the product to the additional tool (red material stream). The mix is only briefly in the effective range of the additional tool. This results in only minimal heating. The shape and the peripheral speed of the transport tool have an influence on the material transport to the additional tool and on the mixing of the materials.

The MIXACO Multitool™ container mixer can be expanded in many ways. Additional adaptations can be developed in cooperation with our engineers according to your individual requirements. We will be happy to advise you on the possibilities:

  • Dust extraction: Suction device at the mixing head, which extracts the fine dust produced in the mixing container after the mixing process.
  • Temperature sensor in the mixing head to detect the product temperature during mixing. The temperature is displayed on the control panel

  • Injection: A pneumatically operated device in the mixing head for the addition of liquid or gaseous substances – the design of the injection can be adapted to customer specific requirements, e.g. longer / thinner
