The new location enables MIXACO to offer significantly shorter response and delivery times for customers throughout Asia, as well as local technical advice and after-sales support that is faster, more direct, and more efficient. Production will be tailored to the requirements of the Chinese market and offer greater capacity for innovation. In addition, closer cooperation with local partners will result in stronger networking with leading companies in the battery, plastics, and powder industries. Opening ceremony of MIXACO Machinery Technology (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. A significant milestone for German-Chinese cooperation
On November 5, 2025, MIXACO celebrated a special moment in the company’s history: the grand opening of MIXACO Machinery Technology (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. High-ranking guests from politics, business, and industry, as well as representatives from our international locations, gathered in both China and Germany to honor the introduction of our 60 years of German mixing technology in Changzhou. This is a visible sign of the importance of the market and the partnership between Germany and China for the further development of MIXACO.
A strong sign of a shared vision
The official speeches by Dr. Matthias Herfeld (owner), Matthias Tölle (CEO MIXACO), Nicolas Gehring (CEO MIXACO China), and our partner companies made it clear that the new location is much more than a production facility; it is a bridge between two worlds of innovation.
The speakers emphasized the importance of the new location, their confidence in the Chinese market, and the significance of local presence for next-generation technical solutions. They also expressed their enthusiasm for future joint projects and their shared vision of long-term, partnership-based development.
Traditional lion dance: symbol of a successful new beginning
A highlight of the celebration was the traditional lion dance, accompanied by gongs and drums. Two impressively costumed lions, in gold and red, symbolically combined “German precision” with “Chinese agility.” Nicolas Gehring and Matthias Tölle then jointly applied the traditional vermilion dot to the lions’ eyes:
- Left eye: Precise mixing
- Right eye: Energy efficiency
- Forehead: Successful partnership between China and Germany
With the last dot, the lions “came to life” and presented a pair of blessings for prosperity and business success. Accompanied by applause, camera flashes, and great enthusiasm. This was immediately followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which officially marked the launch of MIXACO Changzhou.
Technology presentations: German innovation for the Chinese market
During the opening ceremony, guests were given a first glimpse of MIXACO’s key technologies, which are now supported directly from Changzhou:
- the intensive mixer for dry electrodes,
- the patented Multitool™ container mixer,
- and the fully automated bonding process for powder coatings.
These innovations are exactly the solutions that many Chinese and Asian manufacturers are looking for: energy-efficient, precise, process-stable, and suitable for high production volumes.
